The Future of Restaking is Here: Introducing Cross-Chain Native Staking from Nuffle Labs & Wormhole.
Nuffle Labs & Wormhole are introducing the first native cross-chain staking that merges the versatility of Wormhole’s messaging infrastructure with NUFF Protocol, the Universal Restaking Protocol.
This category defining initiative gives token holders the ability to participate in rRestaking across multiple chains without resorting to bridging their assets.
By connecting directly to Eigenlayer network, we are maintaining each token’s inherent properties while broadening the spectrum of staking opportunities.
A Brand New Approach to Cross-Chain Staking
True cross-chain staking has not been possible, until now.
Our collaboration with Wormhole will abstract complexity away for users.
Rather than shuttling liquidity between ecosystems, users retain their native tokens and continue engaging with their original networks, yet gain the benefit of participating in EigenLayer’s growing Restaking ecosystem.
Under the Hood
This solution coordinates three essential components:
- Wormhole’s Message-Passing Architecture
- Nuffle Labs NUFF Protocol
- EigenLayer’s Staking Infrastructure
Staking and Restaking become simpler and accessible from a single point of interaction.
Addressing the Complexity of Cross-Chain Operations
Through our integration, users can:
- Operate from one interface while keeping their tokens on their home chain.
- Maintain native utility without liquidity bridging.
- Stake into a wide range of EigenLayer Actively Validated Services (AVSs) without the overhead of juggling multiple tools and tokens.
What Users Can Expect:
- One interface to manage all staking positions across many chains.
- Native token utility and ownership is preserved on home chains.
- Access to EigenLayer’s restaking economy from any chain.
- Benefit from fast finality across many chains.
Looking Forward
We’re establishing a brand-new primitive where users can participate in broader ecosystem opportunities without sacrificing the benefits of their native tokens.
For the ecosystem, this means expanded access to EigenLayer’s restaking economy.
For users, it means easier access to more opportunities.
The initial integration enters testnet soon, with mainnet to follow after.
This is the first step toward truly native multichain staking.

About Nuffle Labs
Nuffle Labs are creating a universal marketplace that enables any asset to participate in the growing restaking economy while remaining in its native environment. Incubated by the NEAR Foundation and Pagoda, Nuffle Labs extends restaking to all networks through the Nuff Protocol, the first universal restaking solution. This allows restakers to provide security and receive rewards directly from their native chains, building on top of the rapidly growing Eigenlayer ecosystem. As builders of NEAR DA and NFFL, we’re focused on developing infrastructure that open up previously isolated markets. For more information, visit nuff.tech
About Wormhole
Wormhole is the leading interoperability platform that powers multichain applications and bridges at scale. Wormhole provides developers access to liquidity and users on over 30 of the leading blockchain networks, enabling use cases that span DeFi, NFTs, governance, and more.
The wider Wormhole network is trusted and used by teams like Circle and Uniswap. To date, the platform has facilitated the transfer of over 40 billion dollars through over 1 billion cross-chain messages.

About EigenLayer
EigenLayer is a protocol built on Ethereum that pioneered restaking, a new primitive in cryptoeconomic security. Through a system of interconnected smart contracts, any ERC-20 token can be “restaked” to participate in not one, but any number of Actively Validated Services (AVSs) in exchange for fees and/or rewards. Operators opt into these opportunities by running additional node software and in some cases grant the EigenLayer smart contracts the ability to impose additional slashing conditions on their assets as specified by the AVS. By leveraging the existing Ethereum staking infrastructure, EigenLayer enables developers and decentralized applications to benefit from Ethereum’s robust security without the need to establish separate validator networks.
